i was given this fish as a present i do really know anything about it if possible can i get some info on it

They are a peaceful and territorial species that will defend their territory from other tank mates. Mix with the same sized fish, or they will eat smaller fish. Adult males should be kept one per aquarium, they tend to fight as ferociously as male bettas. The male has the longer fins and deeper body colors. They are good jumpers, so hopefully you have a covered aquarium. Hope that was some info for you... good luck
