My dog, Dixie, is a 9 year old flat coated retriever. Lately she has been getting moles all over her body. Is that normal for older dogs, or should I be worried that it might be cancer or something? Has this happened to anybody eles?

Better to be safe than sorry. Definately take her into a vet for an exam. At her age you should be very cautious if something unusual like a mole or a growth appears. It could be othing but you need to be sure. Good luck!!

It may be cyst caused by the food she is eating. My dog was on SD all of her life and we had two of the wart/mole looking things cut off of her while she got her teeth cleaned. Well, one developed on her head. Oxy drops were recommended and low and belhold it went away completely in a week with no sign of it. You put one tiny drop on the spot full strenghth. Ususally you do not use it full strenth you dilute it but they recommended it full strength. I notice she has another one on her butt so I am doctoring that one too and this stuff is amazing.
