Okay this is gross and all but I need to know.. does anyone else have the problem that their dog(s) farts all the time?? I changed their food thinking that would help and it doesn't.. I am thinking maybe the treats that they get on a daily basis makes them gassy.. It is gross and smells so bad that we have to leave the room.. Jekkyl is the silent but deadly type.. it is terrible... and he just acts innocent like he never done anything, if you say "Jekkyl-- that wasn't nice!" he looks at you like, "Huh?? What?? What did I do??" Then Saige.. her ears go back and she gets up and walks out like "Gotta go before you figure it out!" Only thing is that Saige.. you can hear hers and Jekkyl's you can't.. WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY DOGS???? They do it all the time.. in the vehicle they seem to do it more.. or in bed. They have to be under the covers or will nudge you all night with their nose, one even digs at you.. then they get under there, hog the bed, snore and once they are comatose.. start letting it loose. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, because it is getting very imbarrassing when we have them somewhere or have company and Saige farts or Jekkyl stinks the place up.. Funny.. but imbarrassing!! Angie, Jekkyl and Saige (Mum!! That was not us.. it was.. ahh.. umm.. it was the cat..!) IP: Logged |

I have noticed that one thing that definately will make my mini poodle pass gas is when I give her carrots. I thought I would change up her veggies and added carrots. That is when she started doing it on a daily basis. So I stopped that and no more gas. Only on occasion. I have to say that hearing a beautiful little dog like her pass gas is one of the most hilariuos things to see. After she does it, she will kick her feet. Once in a while she will raise her head to see what happened, but mostly re-adjust her legs. I totally busted up the first time I heard it. Picture the beautiful quite dainty min. poodle ffrrrrttt. Its funny. When she is on my hubby and he passes gas, she will get up and away from him. I think it has something to do with what you feed them. Oh, my other dog will sniff him bum after he does it.
