I thought it might be fun to see who has the most unusual name for a cat. If someone posts a name that you have or have had, just say so. I'll start off with some of my unusual names:

-Merla
-Gary
-Moo
-Shaba

When a blue eyed white cat showed up and moved in, I asked my best friend what pretty girl was in Yiddish. So, we named her Shana Madel. We soon realized she was pregnant, so in keeping with the theme, we have Shmuel, Shlomo and Shlamey, collectivly known as The Kinde, which means children.

I have three cats, the first a kitten after my cat Sheba (19 years old) passed away. I tried to go without a cat, my heart was broken, but you just can't do that, at least I cant. Anyway, I found this precious little tortoiseshell and named her Kameko which is Japanese for "tortoise child" and a "wish for long life". We love her name!

I currently have three cats,

Pedro - (my mother named him and she loved the name Peter but every cat she named Peter died young. To break the curse she tried the spanish equivilant, and hes going on 15 now),

Hershey - my chocolate point burmilla,

Jagr - pronounced 'ya-gar' but his vets call him 'jag-ah'. (Maybe I should have spelled it Yagr).

I also have had:

The Grey Mouser (aka Mouser, or Mouse) an amazing people-loving cat.

an lots of unorriginally named cats who were natuarally cool cats for their own reasons eg:
Timmy, Jimmy, Goldie, Sam, Rex, Kelly, Boomer

Our cats name is Kita. We adopted her from a shelter and they called her Lulu there, but it just wasn't fitting. My husband wanted to call her NaKita, but we agreed on Kita.
We are currently looking for a name for our 2nd kitten... and I can't think of anything that is as clever and cool as Kita.
