I am in the process of cycling my 10 gallon tank with 3 platies in it...is every other day lite feedings okay? And how often should I be doing water testing during this period...daily, every other day? I've finally gathered enough advice from talking to all of you to get my tank on the right track! Thanks! Light feed your tester fish at least once a day, a good pinch. Params should be checked twice a week since it will take about 3 weeks for your tank to cycle. IP: Logged |

well, lets hope it only take a few weeks! I've already been at this for 7 weeks...but frequent water changes too early have slowed the cycle. Everyday feedings won't be too much? My ammonia levels are at 6.0 ppm. IP: Logged |
