i have a flowerhorn and it's pretty aggressive. he's killed a turtle twice the size (by biting head) and two oscars (both bigger in size). i hear u can mix them with parrot fish, ive always thought they look gay. if there's pet stores in your area owned by asians, most likely u can purchase flowerhorns there. i found a place in my area where the whole store practically sell FH and the owner also breeds them. u jes look at the parents and find the juvenile thats most aggressive, red, and black spots. u cant tell the sex yet at that age, so u won't know which one will be having the hump. juveniles are usually around $15-20. Funny that noone's mentioned Bettas. They're beautiful fish, not generally aggressive to other species of fish, but, together they will rip each other apart, some strains even have aggressive females. IP: Logged |
