I had some one told me that putting a slinky in the cage is a good toy. (stetching the slinky from one sid of the cage to the other.) wont they get stuck? can anyone help me?

I've never heard that.... but it doesn't sound like a very good idea to me. They could become trapped and tangled. I wouldn't try it. I would stick with the toys that were designed for little birds.

I have to agree i would not use toys that are not designed for birds as the risks of injury are high.

i have 6 parakeets, and slinky's are not good for parakeets because if it is a metal one it might even hurt their feet, as well as get tangled in it.
