How do you make hardboiled eggs?

Hi.Place the eggs in a pan of water put them on the cooker and boil them to make hard boiled eggs i usually boild them for about 5-6 minutes.

i had my dad help me when i got home and i gave it to my parakeets. i got each of the to take a small bite of it but they don't like the smell of it they are very afraid of the smell.
