I've just bought new keets from a petshop. When I asked the seller what kind of keet I am going to buy he told me that it is a Parakeet Pied. Can anybody tell me what's the difference of this type of parakeet.... Thank you!!!! IP: Logged |

My Bubs is a pied and she looks like this: http://a.domaindlx.com/veggie/bubs.jpg A pied's colour is spotted on the breast and they don't have lines on their wings. Just little markings. They also have a spot on the back of their head without bars. There's dominant and recessive. Recessive's cere doesn't change and doesn't get irises but a dominants cere does and it gets irises. I hope this helped. IP: Logged |
