My sweet, lovable Narf died today, and it was my fault. I accidentally stepped on her. I never knew that letter her walk on the floor could end in tragedy. We had her for 9 years and she was the best bird, so sweet and funny, with a great personality. She never got under my feet before, so this was totally unexpected. So please don't let your birds walk on the floor. I took my attention away from her for a few seconds, and now I will have to live with this grief and guilt forever.

I am so sorry about your bird! The loss of a pet is always really hard on a family. It may have been your fault it may not, but sadly it did happen. Though you are having a hard time I still just wanted to say your not alone...
