Hi, What mutation is your cockatiel? If she is a Lutino (whitish with yellow head and pumpkin cheek), she may have "Lutino Baldness". This is a harmless birth defect of Lutino birds that occurs when their parents were both Lutinos. If she is not a lutino, she may be plucking out of boredome. Try getting her new toys, etc. If you are sure neither of these suggestions apply, try taking him/her to a local avian vet. IP: Logged |
