our female layed 4 eggs the male was in there from the first until the last. we would see him maybe once or twice aday for food and water then he was back in. now we see him all the time. the first egg should be ready about the 25th of this month how often should they be sitting on them the female is out all the time not in lees she is in there when we put the cover on at night thank you IP: Logged |

What kind of birds do you have? My budgies take it in turns to sit the eggs both parents sit them at night.. My cockatiels, the hen (female) sits on the eggs during the night and the cock (male)sits during the day.. Have you checked the eggs under a light or tourch to make sure the eggs are fertile. Some birds wont sit on the eggs fully until all eggs are laid it maybe she is stil laying eggs. IP: Logged |
