Anyone with experence with gupies and mom's having fishes please let me know. I have a mom who seems to be ready to give birth (maybe it lloks like it). I have been told it can take 30 days. Si are black dots(like mini peas) in her tummy really babies?? Anyone who know please respond. THANK YOU IP: Logged |

hi. Yes it can take up to 30 days for the female fish to give birth. They usually give birth once a month. the best way is to put lots of floating plants on top of the water. so, the baby could have have place to hide. And make sure to feed to female at least 3 to 4 times a day. IP: Logged |

do you really need plants? coz my guppy recently had babies and she didnt eat any of them even if they were swimming right in front of her face IP: Logged |

I put those plastic plants in. But how do I know she is getting close to having the babies?? I have heard they may eat the babies. But I bought these to keep at work for the kids to see and I will keep some of the babies at home if she does have some. He belly is white and seems to have a bounch of tinny blacks dots inside.
