Oh lord! My roomate asked me to shave her pom, so I did. The dog looks horrible. I left the main and the tail. the body is so choppy and she is different colors. How long will it take for it to grow back? IP: Logged |

Are you a Pro groomer? It might take a while to grow back, but she asked you to do it so it's her problem. next time tell her to take it to a pro groomer. IP: Logged |

LOL..I'm sorry, I just laughed so hard when I heard this....I'm soo sorry, but I can sooo relate!!! I shaved on of our dogs. Its like $50 to get my mothers Great Pyraneese shaved. We're here in Texas and it gets sooo hot here in the summer that he won't get out of the ditches or pools. But once we shave him he romps and plays like normal. IP: Logged |

I've always heard it takes months for a poms hair to grow back to its original look and sometimes it does not come back as full. Just what I heard. My neighbor did it and it took a while to come back. IP: Logged |
