I know the poodle coat takes up to a year or more to change to the adult coat. The puppy coat is much more softer. Some poos have thicker fuller ear hair while some have thinner. Mine has thick hair. The ear hair takes a long time to grow actually. When I got my girl at the age of 4 she was completely shaved and it took about a year to get it the length I want it. The ear hair is also a bit more fragile than the rest of the body. She is not biting on it as she eats is she? I put a scarf on my poo to hold her hair back other wise she chomps he food in it and it breaks. By the time she is around two years of age, you will then know how her hair will be. IP: Logged |

no, she doesn't bite on her ears when she eats...it's actually not long enough. Thanks so much for the advice your puppies are adorable! IP: Logged |
