Hello Amber... I too am new to this site.

I just got a shih tzu. Before I got him, I did a lot of research, and I found this website helpful. www.dogomania.com...

It shows you pictures of dogs, so it will give you an idea of what your dog will look like when it gets older. Also, it tells you things such as, if that type of dog will do well with young kids, or other animnals!
