I have 16 new rescues .Labs ,lab mixes and other kinds . http://pages.ivillage.com/maltipoos
go to the rescue page on poos-4-u continued and see some of them .In the last 3 days I have placed 4 and have a few more going tomorrow .If you know anyone that would like a beautiful 'Best Friend " tell them I have some .A local kill shelter pulled 16 cards and I pulled the 16 dogs out .Have to find them homes before I can do it again .Need all the help I can get .If you can ,pass the word ....

WOW I really have to give you a word of THANK YOU for doing what you did!! I have gone down to our shelter and taken at the max 2 dogs at a time and found them a home. I wish I could do more but being in the city in a very small house it's all I can do at once. I know the minute I leave that there are dogs put down and it breaks my heart. But to think that you just saved 16 dogs from being killed... God Bless you! Best wishes to you and them.

Thank you for the kind words .I need help placing them the most .Espicially the puppies .Some type walker /mix ..Would make good hunters ,all are females .I have placed 4 already of the others .Know anyone that would want a good loyal friend ,let me know..They have now about 8 more to put to slewep Monday ..I am heartbroken that I can only this time around take at the most 2 or 3.Don't have the room ...

They do not tell us who drops off or any information ,only that cards are pulled and give us a few hours notice to come pull what we believe we can place .For us and the other 3 girls that pull ,it is a very hard decision sometimes .
INFO ...she is a female from a litter of 5 .2 have been placed so far ..We think she is a walker /lab mix but we cannot be sure .Vet agrees some type dog of that nature .She is up to date on shots and even has rabies shot ,wormed ,kennel cough vacine .Will more than apt be the size of a lab .About 5 months old .All I would ask is the fee to get her to you or you come pick up and sign a neuter /spay contract .She is a beautiful and smart little girl and needs a loving home ..

she is a she then??? Hmmmmm. Could you send me any more pics.. And tell me more about her personality? I do have a pup. 5 months and he needs a friend. I just want to make sure I know enough about her before I make any decisions. The breed doesn't bother me cause she is beautiful, and I think mixes make great pets. Let me know more about her.

That is all I know of her as far as history .Drop offs are just that at the shelter .As far as pictures ,I have over 40 rescues and have to take them as I can .I will try to get another and post here by the weekend .She is a happy ,outgoing ,romping baby that loves to be held and played ball with ,

i think you may have misunderstood my post. I am just trying to find out if she is mellow, or hyper, how she does around the other dogs, around people, and if she is shy or outgoing? I am already trying to find a car mate to take a trip with me. I totally adore her. I just want to find out about any known behavioral problems so I know what I will have to work with..

She gets along well with other dogs .I have her with several others and she plays and does fine .She also likes people ,no sign of anything but a good baby puppy about 4 to 5 months old .No agression ,eats alot ..or I think so ,maybe it is because i am so use to small puppies ,these seem to eat like a horse .I would have to know when you are comming so I can meet you at the vet ,she has to have one more 7 in one and a health certificate before she goes out of state .My vet is open on All days until 5 pm and on Saturday until 12 but if I ask ,he will meet me on early Sunday morning about 7:30 am also .That would be central time..
