Hi Sweetie, I'm also new here and from what I've been reading you will get alot of info from the people here. It's nice to see someone do their research b/f purchasing a new puppy. So good luck with whatever little guy or girl you get. Anela IP: Logged |

Hello, Amber. Great to have you aboard. This forum has many vert knowledgable people on it. When I first came here about a year ago, I really did not like it. Many argued often. But it has transformed into a very nice forum. You must be a smart girl if you are this intersted in finding out what your future dog will be like. I don't have a maltese, I have a poodle and a terrier mix, pic down below. One major biggy about the maltese is hair care. If you can handle brushing the dogs hair out daily maybe sometimes more, and possibly you grooming or taking it to be groomed, then its for your family. I think this is why some of these dogs end up in shelters. Some of the owners get overwhelmed with the coat care. I have to do the same things with my poodle. Welcome. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Hi,I have a toy Chihuahua, she is 4 and she was in heat for about 1 week and I was wondering if there are any early signs that she may be pregnant, other than taking her to her vet.Kiwi is so sweet and her boyfriend Sambo is jealous of her,but we give them both alot of love but if you hold one of them you have to hold the other.Kiwi has been with us since she was about 8months old the old owner came into my c-store and wanted to sell her for $100.00 so she could buy a poodle,Kiwi is registered with AKC. I also have another quiestion since Kiwi is AKC registered, but Sambo is registered with CKC will I have a problem registering her pups if she is pregnant.HELP By the way I'm new here to. IP: Logged |

Hi Amber, I'm also from the us and 13. A funny thing is that I have a maltese puppy. They are great dogs. Mine is a male and he is oh so affectionate. Maltese as I'm sure you know are white. They tend to have problems with tear staining, but if work is applied they can be kept under control. If you have any questions please ask and I'll try to help! oh yeh welcome to auspet! IP: Logged |
