![]() ![]() ![]() So tell me - is it possible for humans to catch colds from kittens and vice versa? My little munchkin has been sneezing since the weekend and two days ago I woke up with a horrible cold and he has been getting worse. Of course while she was sneezing I still let her sleep all over my head and on my pillow etc. . . Anyways I was just curious if human viruses and kitty viruses are interchangable. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hello. Cats get colds, just like you and me, however cats have their own virus that is unique to their species. This means we can't "catch" colds from cats, and neither can they "catch" colds from us. How is your kitty doing? Is she eating and drinking? Is her nose runny? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Nina has been doing fine. Still really active and only sneezes - she doesn't have any extra discharge from her nose and she has been eating and drinking normally - or else we would have seen a vet already!!! Thank you for asking! ------------------ IP: Logged |
