I have a 10 month old kitten in heat and I am just wondering if there is a way to stop the howling? I plan on calling the vet first thing in the morning to get her fixed.

Hello. Welcome to the site. No, there is nothing you can do until you get her spayed. Please don't get upset with her for being noisy. Lol. After all if she had been fixed at a younger age you would have some peace and quiet right now. Hang in there and get her to a vet as soon as possible. Keep us posted.
