My new cat's feet (8-9 weeks old) are always cold (the pads) .. I always notice it when I pick him up .. is this bad? I plan to take him to the vet next week for his shots, is it something I should mention? IP: Logged |

Yes you can mention it. I think its normal to be a bit cool. It may be from him walking on cold serfaces and stuff. Tom's feet are normally cool to the touch. If they feel freezing and he looses feeling in them or walks funny, he may have a circulation problem. I would definately mention it. But I'm sure he's fine. He's young, so I imagine its normal. He walks fine, but sometimes they do feel ice cold. Once he sits in my lap for a bit, they get warm. But yes, I will mention it. IP: Logged |

My kitties paw pads are always cool or cold, the only time they are warm is when they are sleeping ![]() IP: Logged |

It's just odd that I never noticed it on my other cat. IP: Logged |
