Hey Guys! Is there any way to tell how big my kitten will get when he is full grown? He is a mixed breed DLH, last week he was 2 months and weighed 2.7 pounds. Is this a good weight for a kity at 2 months? I never owned cats before only dogs, so I am not sure! Thanks! IP: Logged |

Sounds like a normal weight to me. It's hard to say how big he will get, but it will probably be somewhere between 8 - 14 lbs. IP: Logged |

as long as your kitten is eating healthy and getting plenty of food then the cat is a t a normal weight. Cats sizes Vary so there is not way to tll hoe big your cat will acually get. IP: Logged |

At 9 weeks my kitty weighed 1.2lbs. At 13 weeks she weighed 3lbs! I figure now, at about 5 1/2 months, she's at about 5 1/2 lbs IP: Logged |

My vet told me to expect my kitten to gain about a pound per month and until he reached whatever weight he was destined to get to. He was right on track. 3 lb at 3 months. now he's 7.5 lbs at 7 months. He's a domestic shorthair. I don't know if breed makes a difference as to the growth rate, but some breeds end up quite larger than others. IP: Logged |
