Author | Topic: Duragesic pain patch on Cat |

![]() ![]() ![]() My cat just had major abdominal surgery and they put a duragesic (fentenal) pain patch on her. She was eating the two days after surgery and she was also drinking. We just brought her home today and she ate a little but is just laying around. I'm sure the pain patch has a lot to do with it. Has anyone ever had this used on their cat. Thanks to anyone. ![]() ![]() ![]() I am sure she is a lot more comfortable b/c she has the pain patch. If she is able to rest without being in pain, I think that is a good thing. If she doesn't want to get up to eat, you can give her some nutrical. That will give her the fat and protein she needs. IP: Logged |
