Hi Keep an eye on your cat. It sucks that it is the weekend and most vets offices are closed on Sundays (at least where I am they are). Monday always seems to far away when you or your pet is sick. If you can get him to the vet today then go for it. They can at elast take a temperature, feel around and let you know what to do. If not, then watch your cat closely for the next 24 hours. Take away any food and water for 12-18 hours and see if he is still throwing up. Is he using the litter box? My cat was like that a couple weeks ago. Eating and throwing up and didn't seem to use the litter box. I called the emergency vet office and they told me to take away the food and water and see if she was still throwing up. They suggested it might be a kitty flu and that it would go away in a day or two. I took her to the vet on Monday anyway and she was fine with no temp. After that trip she was eating and using the litterbox without any ill effects. Good luck and keep us posted! IP: Logged |
