It was mentioned that my vet should know what foods are best for CRF. Let me tell you that most vets know very little about nutrition. They just hand you a bag of bland dry food or canned and expect your kitty to take too it! Well, unfortunately, it just doesn't work this way. This is why I asked about the types of dry and wet foods that some have had success with. I have already spoken with my vet and told him that the food he originally wanted my CRF cat on, are not working. Darlene IP: Logged |

Some vets are like that. It takes work to find a good vet, just like it does with human doctors. A good vet should know what kind of foods to give and what to try if that doesn't work. I would check around with other vets in the area. IP: Logged |
