My cat sammy who is just over a year old is sick. I had a new kitty come to my house and they did good together for 5 days and then Sammy started to throw up. Both the poop and throw up have no color no texture all watery. throw up foam clear/white. poop almost a nude color. we took them both to the vet and got no answer. he is on meds and the kitten is fine checked out ok. Sammy has had all his shots. Up until a few days ago he was a fun playful cat. please help!!! also Sammy is not eating but he is drinking water. Thank you Ginny IP: Logged |

How is his behavior other than that. Does he still play and act like himself? IP: Logged |

He has no interest in going outside and most of the time its a job to keep him in. Also his fav toy no interest. but this morning he did go near the door and did come to the toy when it made the noise. but no rush to get out and no playing with the toy. IP: Logged |

I had the same thing happen to my cat about 3 weeks ago. One day she was fine, the next I thought I was losing her. Same symptoms as yours. I thought for sure my new kitten had given her something. Took her to vets and she stayed a few days. She had a fever too..so kept her there just to be safe. They never could tell me what was wrong, but another vet said she possibly had a blockage (hairball probably) that was stuck...not coming out either end. Gave me some laxative stuff very much like the hairball medicine in a tube...which I gave her everyday for a week or two...and she has been fine since. IP: Logged |

Aww Maybe they just need to be seperated for a lil while? He might just be nervous or feeling neglected and is getting sick for attention? I am not sure ... IP: Logged |

I think i found the problem my roomate has a water cooled case for his computer. He had some extra radiator fluid for it in a bag. the bag had leaked out the fluid on to some fabric. it looked to me that sammy had be playing around in it. Sammy is doing much better now he is back to eating and almost back to his old habbits thank you all for your help ginny IP: Logged |
