My 2 year old cat has had diarrhea since we got her at about 3 months - the vet has tried her on several foods and nothing has worked the problem is getting worse. They have check for parasites and nothing shows. Recently they put her on metronidazole that didn't work either. Does anyone have any suggestions. IP: Logged |

Hi My first kitten had the same problem.. The vet disgnosed it as an immature intestine. We had found her at 4-5 weeks and not knowing any better fed her tuna. Well, she had diarreaha for a few weeks and the vet suggested raw minced meat. And it fixed her problem over a couple weeks. As your cat has had the problem for much longer, it may take longer to heal. This vet was a man whose methods were considered very outdated but he also solved the problem every time. Good luck!
