Author | Topic: Two cats will not get along |

![]() ![]() ![]() I am desperately seeking help with my 2 cats. One was my wives (a female about 13 years old) and the other was mine (a male about 4 years old). We moved in together a year ago and the two cats still are not getting along. The male is chasing the female around and backing her into corners. She seems to rebel by urinating and defecating under our bed. Today when I was cleaning under the bed I found blood from them getting into a fight. I am not really sure on how to make them get along. I am open to any suggestions or experience that might help me. So if anyone has any ideas please let me know. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe her urinating and deficating under your bed is out of fear or stress rather than her trying to rebel. She may be too scared to go to the box at times with the other cat constantly chasing her. Can you put an extra litter box in your bedroom for her? Maybe you can put a bell collar on the male so that the female can hear him coming and will have plenty of time to get away from him. I think someone else in here had some luck with this as her two cats were not getting along well either. Maybe one of those feliway plug-ins would also help..if the male is acting this way because he is being territorial it should calm him down a bit. Good luck. IP: Logged |
