Two (2) questions....
I have a Calico female cat, almost 1 year old. She has a whiteish colored nose. Sometimes it is a light pink, sometimes it is a brighter pink. Is this normal, and ok?
2nd--my tabby boy cat (1 year) old just discovered shadows...but to a point where all his time is consumed chasing shadows and his tail. Is this a phase he is going through? Is he ok??

1. I have a Calico whose nose does the same. It seems to be bright pink when she is sleeping or happy. She is very healthy.

2. He is going through a phase. Kitty's love new things. He will probably get tired of his shadow, and if not at least you don't have to buy him any toys!

My kitty's nose does that, too, and I never thought about it. Now I'm really wondering WHY? It's cute though

My theory is that it is a reflection of their body temperature. I'm not worried about it, just curious. I'll ask my vet why they do that when I go in next. Now that I think about it all of my cats with pink noses have their noses change colors.
