my new kitten has been sneezing and sounds stuffed up inside for a couple weeks now....is this a cold or more serious? i am trying to get her to the vet as soon as i can. she still eats and sleep and plays like her brother and he is not sick. let me know if its somehting i should be really worried about.....thanks IP: Logged |

It could be an upper respiratory infection which would need to be treated with antibiotics. I would definately have her checked by a vet as soon as you can...especially since this has been going on for a few weeks now. Good luck. IP: Logged |

I agree with nern. My kittens had colds when I first got them and it took a long time for their sneezies to go away. I had green snot all over my house! Take them to the vet and amoxycillin works the best for young cats. The more serious stuff (starts with a B I think and I can't remember the name) supposedly stunts their growth. IP: Logged |
