I saw on the news yesterday about a Cat Killer that was around the Denver area. Did anyone else watch the news and see that. I really hope htat the police or whoever stops this idiot. Killing cats then putting the remains on the owners house, that is sick. I hope the person is either sentenceed to life in prision or they are going to hell. I think tht is wrong to kill a innocent animal. I would be afraid to let the cat out in the open. Does anyone eles feel the same way????? IP: Logged |

That's disgusting! My best friend's dad did that to her when she was really ittle and her and her mom were trying to get out of the house, he's in jail now but not for that reason. I know the laws were I'm at, if they caught the guy, they'd get put away for maybe two years, but more likely just for that they'd get fined and probation. It's sad to think someone that twisted could get away that easily, but whoever it is probably will. Keep your kitty safe! I'd never let my Sage out anyway, but if I knew that was around my area, I would never let him stay outside if he were outdoors. Sick sick people! IP: Logged |

I totally agree! I don't think the laws are strong enough when it comes to punishment for these sicko people. I also saw the news story on CNN. It made me sick to my stomach to think that someone could be this cruel. I have two cats and absolutely adore them. I can not imagine losing one of my babies this way. I think that what ever they did to the cat should be done to them! Jail time isn't good enough. It should be punishment in the strongest sense. It has been proven time and time again that people who abuse animals go on to abuse kids and even be a serial killer. As an avid animal lover I would love to be on the jury when they finally catch this creep! Even better let me be the judge and jury! I think it is time animal lovers stand up and fight for tougher laws and sentences for these horrible deeds. I just hope that this person(s) are caught and this murderous rampade stops soon. I live in Denver, and work at a local animal shelter there. Our police department in the Aurora suburb is working on the case full time, and the Denver Dumb Friends League (www.ddfl.org) is taking donations towards a reward to any information leading to the arrest of the cat mutilator. Please know: all previous recorded serial killers started out as animal mutilators. ~H~ IP: Logged |

I read about this in People magazine. I hope they catch the creep. And I agree with everyone, we needed stronger punishment for animal abusers. IP: Logged |

That so sad! I hadn't heard about that one. We currently have a dog killer in my area. Someone putting poison on dog treats and leaving them in the dog park. I think the cat killer sounds even worse since it sounds like hes entering people's homes. IP: Logged |

Let me tell you an interesting story about a fellow who harmed animals and paid a dear price. When I was in Junior High there was a fellow who was emotionally disturbed in one of my classes. I had heard rumors here and there that he had harmed animals in the past. One day he put the head of a bird on my seat when the teacher was absent from the room and only a few students remained. REALLY SICK!!! Several years later this fellow's motorcycle slid and he died a horribly death right in the road from a broken neck. The Bible says that God sets the wicked on a "slippery path." I don't believe this was a coincidence. Those that harm God's prescious amimals will be repaid in this life and or the life to come. IP: Logged |

I hate when people harm animals because they cannot tell anyone that they are being abused but people can! So it just keeps going and going until the animal dies or they get caught! IP: Logged |

Sick people need treatment. Abusive adults were usually abused themselves as children. A child that acts out against animals is often being abused him/herself at the same time. We need to stop the cycle. Punishment without treatment doesn't do it. IP: Logged |
