ckaustin unregistered |
![]() ![]() I'm interested in a kitten I found on the internet from a local breeder. The Munchkin kitten does not have papers (nor do the parents), is not full-blood anything and the breeder says the 1st shot is not necessary and does not offer any health guarantee. Are there any rules governing how much someone can sell an unregistered kitten for (in Texas)? Please help- I love this little kitten, but I don't want to get jipped. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() By all means buy the kitten but make sure you get the choice to take it back to the breeder after a full healthcheck as even half breed pedigrees can suffer from congenital problems. I know munchkins often suffer with their legs and you don't want to be stuck with a huge drain on your finances if you can't afford it. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I agree with the previous post - if you want the kitty by all means buy him/her. However as with any internet purchase, have caution as you may be the recipient of a kitty who may not be all that the breeder has told you. If the breeder does give you the option to give back the kitty - have the agreement and all necessary documentation in writing and signed by the breeder. But, as we all know, its hard to consider all this when we set our hearts on a certain little feline friend. I hope all goes well for the both of you. Good Luck! IP: Logged |
