Author | Topic: Kitten in new home- won't eat |

![]() ![]() I just bought a 9-month old Persian kitten from a family who ended up being allergic to her. Within 24 hours of being with me she started playing, sleeping, purring and going to the bathroom. However, it has now been over 48 hours that she has been here and she hasn't eaten a thing. I am feeding her the food she was eating at her old home but she won't eat. Should I be worried? What should I do? [This message has been edited by ange (edited 06-10-2003).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Just give her a little time, she may be a bit bewildered by her new surroundings. Give her a nice treat that she can't refuse maybe some chicken or tinned tuna. Give her plenty of reassurance and generally make sure she seems healthy and is drinking. she should settle down in a week. IP: Logged |
