I have two male kittens that are about two months old. I realized the other day that one of them was missing whiskers. I think that the other kitten might have bit them off. Does anyone have any idea why he would do that? Thanks!

I have a cat who only appears to have whiskers on one side of her face. She has always been like that, at first I thought he was rubbing them off on tables etc but it just seems she is devoid of them on that side of her face.
I doubt the other kitten has bitten them off, you kitten may has scorched them on something hot, the usual way for cats to lose whiskers or if they out someone unscrupulous person may have cut them off.
They should grow back and it shouldn't bother her too much.

I have 2 female kittens (2 mos. old) - one of them suddenly "lost" her whiskers last week. I suspect the other cat, too, as they have not been around anyone else or anything hot, and photos taken earlier definitely show her whiskers!!
Can anyone else help w/ this? The one who still has her whiskers tends to dominate the other one (now whisker-less).
