My cat had her litter of four adorable kittens two weeks ago. They have all opened their eyes now and are very cute. But i noticed that one of the kittens had a red discharge coming from one of its eyes and that has worried me. Is this serious or will it go away? Could it affect the other three kittens?

Hi!
I can't say I have ever seen that kind of symptom but it doesnt sound normal. Maybe you should take kitty to the vet for diagnosis and treatment, especially if is contagious.Good luck!

Thank you for replying to my message. I was very concerned about it and was going to take the kitten to the vet last week but it is good news it has cleared up and all the kittens seem to be doing very well!
