Author | Topic: Cat missing litter box |

![]() ![]() This morning I observed my one year old spayed female cat enter the litter box and *stand* to pee. The urine shot straight out behind her and landed on the wall about 18" away from the box. She has always squatted before this and peed in the litter. Is there anything I can do to stop this behavior before it becomes a habit? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You don't say if this was the only time she'd done this, or if there are other cats in the house. I would refer that symptomology to the vet that performed the spaying, sounds like spraying really. She should not be able to pee in that direction....spraying yes.
