He is feral and cannot be force fed. I do have him confined. Any suggestions to stimulate appetite.? I have tried tuna. IP: Logged |

Hi! If there is nothing wrong with the cat physucally, he will eat eventually. Just keep fresh food and water close by, and make sure you leave him alone for feedings as some ferals feel threatened if you are close by when they are. If he is traumatized, he may not eat at first. If he does not eat for any longer than a week, I suggest bringing him to a vet who might be able to help out. The rule is, that a hungry, healthy cat will break down at some point and eat. If not, he could have an obstruction or injury. Keep a close eye on him, (except around the food, of course!) good luck IP: Logged |
