We got a dog from a shelter. He is an awesome dog - calm, smart,
affectionate, beautiful. He is wonderful with people. He knows sit, stay,
come, down, shake, beg, leave it, and wait. He learns quickly. He is an
Australian Shepherd, but the most mellow one I have ever seen. You can see

However, he has developed a personality conflict with my other dog, and he
chases the cats. He really needs a home with no cats and he might do better
as the only dog, although I think with patience and time he would be okay
with other dogs. He played well with other dogs at the shelter, so possibly
it is just my girl.

He is neutered and up-to-date on all his shots. He is very healthy.

If you can't give him a permanent home, how about a temporary one? The
local Australian Shepherd rescue organization will list him on the internet,
but they don't have any room in foster homes for him right now. If someone
can keep him until a home is found, that would also help him out a lot. I
really need to find a place for him as soon as possible, as right now I am
having to keep the two dogs apart and it is proving very difficult.
