They are nothing close to a true pit. Actually this is the same dogs that came up in discussion before. Here is the thread. http://www.auspet.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000296.html

I;d say definate mastiff influence, looking on the first page the dog at the bottom left...mastiff for sure.
I came across a kennel called Blue Nation kennels, there dogs were worse then these, they had BIG jowels. It was funny. I'll try to find the site.

There are some dogs that are bigger in size, but you can usually tell the the difference. They look like real Pit Bulls but are bigger. Not like these dogs.

It is a pretty looking mastiff though

They over charge big time, but most people like this do. These peddlers know they can sell these huge dogs by using the name Pit Bull behind them. Stud fee $2000 lol...you can get stud from a good dogs for 750.

Are you sure pitsr? They look awful large. And that female Gretchen is shaped funny, and there is no registration listed for her.

I found the link but dont see the dog I was talking about. Actually this is a whole different website than the one I looked at before. The one had a male that was definatly a bandogge of some sort.

There are a couple of dogs on there that look like decent pits, like Sugar, Watuka, Sheba, Covergirl, and Tiger. Then, there are some others that still look like pits, just poorly bred ones, like Gretchen - she is horribly 'out at the elbows'. The rest of them could not possibly be true ABPTs. Just my 02.

Someone on another board photoshopped a picture of that big blue dog a while back to add a raincloud onto it like is on the blue carebear, then put the original carebear beside. There was a startling resemblence

That didn't really have anything to do with the original topic, but I just though it was kinda funny (I'll see if I can find the pictures). At 90 lbs and 17" tall, those dogs are more like English Bulldogs than APBTs.

Here we go, found it. I'll just give the link to the page, since I don't know who originally PS'ed it.... http://purebredpuppy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5268&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30

The pic is towards the bottom of the page, 3rd from last message.

That is so startling!!! I'm still LMAO.
Here is something a little funny also. Doesn't have much to do with the original topic, but humoroues none the less.

Don't bother emailing them. They are in their own little world.

I imagine so. They know they are in the wrong. Breeding "mutts". Yeah they look good, so they must be expensive.....grrrrrr. Idiots.
