I only had 2 dogs in 30 yrs that were poop eaters but this is what I used to to stop them from doing it, this stuff works great and rite away.

I'm sure there are other products out on the mkt and frankly I dont care what you use just use something.

The thought of a dog eating his or something elses poop realy GROSSES ME OUT! LOLOLOL

My puppy does this. He eats his and my other dogs poop. I wouldn't mind it so much except that he gets poop ALL OVER HIM. He's a messy eater.

My problem is that my other dog has a VERY sensitive stomach so I hate to give her new things. Do you think this stuff would upset her stomach?

Is poop eating bad for dogs? or is it just disgusting.

Well on the 2 dogs that I’ve used it on they didn’t mind it at all. And like I said in the 1st post the stuff really works fast.

My Vet told us the reason some dogs do this is because of a vitamin/mineral deficiensy.

Witch can also cause the dog to chew on his pads, eat rocks, and chew grass ext.

What kind of feeding program do you have your pups on?

Fortunately I dont have that problem. If we're playing catch in the yard and the ball goes anywhere near her poop she won't touch it. Just looks over at me like "i can't believe you just did that!" Then I hae to go get it for her and wipe it off (even though it didn't actually make contact) before she'll touch it again. Too funny!

the puppy gets California natural so it shouldn't be the food (better not be with the $$ i spend on that stuff) .

I think he just likes to eat stuff. He eats everything he can get in his mouth.

Deus: Tried going to your link and it wouldn't come up for me. I'll later again. I'm for anything for keeping Grace out of the litter box. She totally adores cat poop.I keep the box clean all the time, but she manages to find something. It's disgusting to get a kiss from a pit with litter lips. Then she always has her nose under the cat's tail all the time. It's like the cat is her own personal Pez Dispenser or something, waiting for something to come out. Anyway, I'm going to try your link again.

loves-da-pits,

Heres the main site then look under Supplements.

Both links work for me but you always do a cut & paste on directly to your browser.

Deus: There's a store 5 miles from my house. The SEP Suppliment is given to dogs who eat their own poop. It makes it taste really bad so they don't want to. I'm going to ask if I can give it to cats so they aren't so desireable. But the food looks really of good quality. The Hund-N-Flocken Adult looks to be of high quality. Thought it would be Cha-Ching, but it's only 35.95 for 33#. This what I pay for Nutro. They also have good suppliments for joints and coat. Cat food looks good, too. GOOD FIND! THANKS!!

There hole product line is top shelf.
I used it exlusively befor I made the jump to BARF. And I still use some of the supplements like the Seameal powder and the Flaxseed oil.

I'm glad I've never had this problem. But for those of you who don't care that they do this...here's a thought for you...

They eat poo all day, then comeand lick your face!
