i want to say thank you to the people who responded to my message positivly!! i just want to say that i also have two 4 year olds and a 2 year old children im a house wife and i take care of everything so its really hard to keep a 24 hour watch on my dog in HER backyard!!! what happened is my mother in law lives around the corner from me and her yappy little dog dosent stay on a chain and came over to my yard and dug under my fence, my girls came running inside ( from playiing in back yard ) that nannas dog was in our fence, i filled the hole in and took the othr dog home and told mom that next time i wold take her dog to the pound well it keeps happening and because its my mother in laws dog i feel bad getting rid of it.we also have a problem with her getting upset when we leave her at home alone and she chews stuff up so we put her out on afternoon whle we went shopping and when we got home some hours later some one had opened our gate and let her out ( she was already out of heat at that time but already pregngnt)i am doing the best i can to keep dogs away from her but have run out of ideas. she digs hole in the yard but not at or under the fence ( wish i could stop her doing that cause i always fall in theam ha ha ha)and i know she is mixed but what attitude should i expect after pups are here from kacy towards my children? she is really good tempered and happy. she deffantly does not get treated like a dog, she goes everywhere with me!!!im pretty sure i will have more questions later and thank you again to those willing to help instead of critize for accidents!!! As far as her chewing things buy a kennel crate for her. The pups temperaments are a gamble. Do you have any idea what breed of dog sired the pups? Her temperament could be the same or she could become overly protective of her pups. Which means the children couldn't be around her when she's with the pups. Some get like this. Others are just fine and let the kids pick up the pups and everything.

Its hard to tell about her temperment. She is still a baby. Its a more positive outlook because you said she is great and shows no aggression, but this may or may not change when she gets older. Also, you should take her and the male for full check ups at the vet. If they have any sort of diseases, they may be hereditary to their pups, and you could pay big tie for that stuff.
