You didn't say what kind of training you are into but here's a few links that may help you deside and I believe they have clubs in CA. http://www.ppda.homestead.com/ http://www.ringsport.org/ http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Field/1511/ http://www.psak9.org/index.html IP: Logged |

Hey, Um you could trying going to petorphansfund.org, then click on link of interst on the left side of the page...there should be a section for trainers in the Los Angeles areas...there should be like 5 differnt links, maybe more. Pet Orpansfund does reserch and will only put links for trainers who are repected and responsable...so take a look at those, they might help. IP: Logged |

you can do a search on google for positive reinforcement. This will bring up lots of trainers and you can find one that is in your area. You may have to specifically ask that you want the training off leash. I think most trainers prefer to start wiht a leash and then work off. Also, I am not sure what you have heard of clicker training, or why you don't want to use it, but it can be very effective and there is not contact with your dog. YOu just click when he does a good behaviour. [This message has been edited by bullylove1 (edited 03-12-2004).] IP: Logged |
