Hello everyone. I have a question for all of you.....my little Buffy has (at 4 1/2 months old) taught herself to jump up and open the lever handled doors in our house. She even let herself out the back door of our business yesterday (THANK GOD she didnt run away or become road kill!!!!!) My question is are all pits this smart??? I have never had a dog this intelligent!!! And yes I am locking the doors now!! IP: Logged |

mine was smart like that. they're good little escape artists. you can teach them lots of cool tricks. i tought roxy to play dead and it only took me one day. it was funny people would get a kick out of it. i'de just point at her and say bang, and she'de roll over on her back and look at you. Kool, Sounds like with a little training that pup will bring you home some Trophy's for sure. Think about some classes like Competitive Obedience or Agility cause it sounds like you got your self a winner. Heres a training link it will give you some ideas: http://www.caninetrainingsystems.com/index.php
