okay i've been reading different dogs pedigrees on the net and i dont know what some of the abreviations mean.

POR?
ROM?

and what does it mean if they say something like "heavy" bred chinaman? i know that chinaman is the blood line but what does heavy mean? also what is top side?

I think ROM is (Registry Of Merrit) if i'm not mistaken I dont no what POR stands for, Mabe True_Pits will know. Or go to the ADBA website thats where most of the old time blood lines are registard.

True Pits does know and did answer the ? on the pet lovers forum. Except the chinaman question wasn't presented. On ADBA site they don't have that stuff listed as far as I know.
"Heavy" bred chinaman is just inbred chinaman, a heavy bred dog is a dog with a large % of "x" bloodline.

POR is Producer of Records. And you were right about ROM.
