Hey everyone, I was just on a different forum and Bennyboy posted about losing his Pit. It broke the chain yesterday and nobady has turned it in yet. I know some of you live in his area and thought I would post this for him because I know he is probably busy phoning and looking for his baby.
If any of you hear or see anything please post and let him know.
Benny, our thoughts are with you.
Leslie

I FEEL for you. I truly do. I hope and pray that she comes back soon. It is total agony and will be until she's back. I've been through this myself. One time I had two missing out of my yard at the same time. Ecaped. They were gone for almost 2 days. I cried the entire time and couldn't even get out of bed. I was a total wreck. They were not stolen. My main worry was someone was going to shoot them or hurt them. I thanked God they came home, on their own. I guess they decided to go exploring. Thank GOD they scented their way back home.

After that episode, we finally put up a 4 ft fence surrounding our entire backyard, hooking up an electric wire about 6" from the ground. No more problems.

My prayers are with you and your girl.

benny, have you tried to go door to door and asking. You nenver know, someone in your neighbourhood may have your dog. Also, and it stinks that you may have to do this, but offer a reward for your dog. That may get more responses. Good luck to you. I know how much pain you must be in.

I pray she's not stolen, but we've had alot of bulldogges and pitts, amstaffs, mastiffs and aussies stolen here lately. An old man came to our door yesterday looking for his aussie. I pray you find her along with everyone else who's lost a beloved pet!

Good luck Benny, in your search for your girl.My 12 year old boxer went missing a few years ago.I was heartbroken. This was a dog that NEVER made an attempt to get out of my yard.Funny thing was my gate was shut when I found her missing and my other dog was still there.I put a missing ad in the newspaper, with no luck.So the next morning I drove through my neighborhood, stopping at the bus stops along the way. Most of my neighborhood kids knew Chelsea,so they were also upset.I told them to keep their eyes out for me and to tell their friends too.It worked 2 weeks later,a little boy about a block from me saw Chelsea in a backyard.I immediately drove to the house the woman was just getting ready to leave.I confronted her about Chelsea, she asked if I would come back because she had somewhere to be I said hell no.I went over and opened her gate Chelsea looked bad she was dirty and had a large opened wound to her inner thigh. But she was happy to see her mommy.By now the woman is trying to tell me she found Chelsea in her yard one morning and she said her gate was closed(Right).I told her I didn't care how she found her that I had her papers and pictures proving she belonged to me.I guess the woman was off her rocker because she then tells me she has become attached to my dog and didn't want me to take her.I couldn't believe her nerve.I told her hell would freeze before I left her.She then asked if she could come by and see Chelsea I told her I she came near my dogs or my home I would have her arrested.(funny how she knew where I lived).Chesea went to the vet and got her leg taken care of,and I never saw the looney-toon again. But back to you Benny it may help you to talk to the kids in your neighborhood.Don't lose hope I got my baby back after 2 weeks it can happen.GOOD LUCK...

just a reminder to be careful approaching children asking them to help you find a lost dog. I have heard that children preditors use the "lost dog" line when trying to lure victims and I would hate to see benny get into trouble with an innocent question. benny I sure do hope that you find your dog soon!! I would go absolutely nuts if anything happened to Buffy!! My prayers are with your and your dog!!!
