MY NEPHEW AND I JUST GOT BROTHER AND SISTER PITS ABOUT ONE MONTH AGO. I ASKED HIM TO BRING HER OVER AS OFTEN AS HE COULD SO THEY CAN GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER BUT EVEERY VISIT ENDS WITH A FIGHT. THE PLAY AROND AND GET ON TOP OF EACH OTHER AND NIBBLE AT EACH OTHER BUT AS SOON AS WE THINK THEY ARE OK THE GRAB EACH OTHER AND BITE HARD. THEY HAVE MADE EACH OTHER BLEED A FEW TIMES. IS THIS TOO ROUGH OR IS IT NORMAL? WELL WERE NOT GONNA LET THEM FIGHT ALL THE TIME, BUT WILL THEY GET OVER IT OR SHOULD WE JUST NOT BRING THEM TOGETHER ANYMORE. IT DOESNT BOTHER ME TOO MUCH BUT MY NEPHEW WILL JUST GO HOME. SHOLD WE JUST SEPERATE THEM AND LET THEM PLAY AGAIN OR SHOULD HE GO HOME? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT

Just based on my own experiences it mite be a good idea take the pups to a neutral place to play and see if that help. I have a 4 yr old intac male that I take to the local dog park a phew time a week and he plays with any dog that will play with him. At the same time if a dog wondered into our yard he will turn it into hamburger with all haste (This is a dog thing not a pit-bull thing) I think most dogs are this way.

So try play time at the park this way when one gets tired and needs some space he\she can do so. If this doesn’t work then maybe these two shouldn’t be allowed to play anymore.

Hope that helps
Deus

hi
was looking through the site and saw your ?
first have you ever seen to pits fight well even if you havent you will know when their fighting or not . Pitbulls are tough players i have to brothers that have been to gether since the day they were born and they get real rough sometimes .But they have never fought . Pitbulls are naturally competetive with eachother no matter if their related or not. But they are dogs , and they form paks and there alway will be a dominate leader. im not telling you to let them fight but they might be tring to establish domenence over one another .
and if one of them dosent it will go on and might get way out of hand
