Well i can say this.. cruelity to me isnt cropping a puppys ears, cruelity to me keeping a beautiful dog, on a horrible chain, not keeping them current on shots and otherwise, throwing them in a backyard and forgetting about them,making them agressive for entertainment... im sorry, but thier are so many horrible things people do to animals... dogs, cats, PITTS ... so maybe you should focas on REAL CRUELITY like puppy mills and such ... and stop wasting our time with your petty nonsence .

pits not PITTS....and just bc you dont care about the same things that freedom cares about doesn't make it nonsense, im sure that he/she doesn't want those OTHER forms of cruelty in our society either. freedom was just saying that he/she doesn't think it's right to alter a dogs appearance for our personal liking, and i can sort of agree with that....but we alter ourselves for the same reasons so i dont really care, to each his own

well first of all benny.. thats not the only thing freedom said.. as a matter of fact she said EVERYONE on this board was unloving iresponsible pet owner b.c we wernt all aginst ear cropping... and the way i love my animals.. ALL of them, cats as well as my pit bulls, will not be questioned and insulted by someone with such an obvious need to just start crap . So ... like someone has said .... I dont belive anyone here is in any way an abusive owner.. . if they were theyd be posting somewhere else . Ya know Bennyboy, if she doesn't like ear cropping - NO PROBLEM-"O" Ya know what I mean? No big deal. The fact is, she said we were cruel and uncaring/unloving pet owners. That is the ONLY reason why I even responded to her. Do you really think I give 2c on her ear-cropping opinion? NOPE.

But, I'm glad she's gone really. PETA supporter - UGH. I'm gonna have to start a new topic on whether people know the difference between Animal Rights and Animal Welfare. I would bet my a$$ people have no idea what the difference is OR who is friend and who is foe.
