The line I have has been Linebred/inbred for over 60 years now with a minimul amount of outcrosses being done. If the breeders are very knowledgeable this can be done effectively. It bring the best of the best and the wrost of the worst to the table, so it is very possible to have to cull a whole litter, although if it is done properly very good dogs come from this. Like Chickee has said, It is how all breeds were started so the practice is far from new. IP: Logged |
