I have a 2 month old female pittbull. I was wondering if pitts can be trusted around cats, even if they are raised with them, because I also have a kitten??

I have 2 7month old pits, 1 male and 1 female, I got them when they were 3-4months old ,a nd I have a cat that stays out side and I have not had any problems with them. But I would still keep an eye on them. because you never know, pits like to play rough with cats.

I was very careful introducing my adult amstaff with my son's new kitten.I used a shock collar the first meeting.I never had to use it Buster did great,at first he was really unsure because the kitten was balls to the wall everywhere in the house. Now they sleep together and Buster has never showed any aggression at all.Now we have two 10 week old pitts and they keep the cat in check. They play with each others toys, and steal each others treats. So GOOD LUCK...Like the other post said just keep a close eye on them.

We got Zeus two weeks ago and prior to getting him we already had two cats. He is great with the cats especially the 7 month old.I actually have more problems with them teaming up with each other and trying to destroy things. They play rough together yes...but as long as noone is getting hurt they are fine. If Zeus gets too rough with her she certainly lets him know.
