My 10 week old APBT just strated puking this morning, for no real aparant reason. She has had a problem though ith trying to eat Cat food. In fact she seems to favor cat food over her food. COuld the cat food be making her sick? He has normal stools & is as hyper as she always has been. If she starts puking again I will probably take her to the vet, but I would still like some advise on what it might be be IP: Logged |

What does the puke look like? Is it frequently or what? You really need to post more information. Also, remember, your dog can get the 'flu' just like we can and puke just like we do. I wouldn't feed your dog cat food. There is a reason why cats have different foods than dogs. Some people get so riled up over things that are just normal stuff. If it persists for more than a few days, then I would take the dog to the vet. IP: Logged |

Well, it is really thick & pasty, in fact it has the consitancy of diarea. As far as the Cat food goes, we keep putting the cat food up, but she seems to try and muscle tha cat out of the way when he is feeding. IP: Logged |

If the dog has diahrea along with the vomiting, and loses it's appetite, you should get to the vet fast, it could be early symptoms of parvo which is a very fatal disease. IP: Logged |
